Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Mix gluten free flour, guar gum, sugar and baking soda in a bowl, set aside.
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring butter, water, and cocoa to a boil. Pour over flour mixture, mixing thoroughly.
Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla and combine well. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until cake tester or toothpick comes out clean.
While the cake is cooling, place butter, cocoa, and buttermilk in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, powdered sugar and nuts until combine. Pour over cake and use a spatula to spread evenly over cake.
