Magic Bars. Also known as 7-Layer Bars. Also known as Hello Dolly Bars. Whatever the name it is a very simple recipe to make and an even more delicious treat to eat!
This is a great bar to make ahead of time for parties. They can be made a day ahead and still taste the same the next day.
You can cut them up into any size. I’ve done things from cutting them into 2×2 in. squares to serve at a retirement party, to 3×3 squares for a school bake sale. It’s a sweet treat, so I wouldn’t cut them too big!
I like to add the coconut as a last step so it gets nice and toasted on the top. Feel free to end with sweetened condensed milk if you prefer the coconut more incorporated.
